Here’s what you’ll find inside this month’s edition:

🌸 A standout AGM

We celebrated a record year, our most successful Open Gardens yet, and over £13,000 invested in floral displays. We also supported 13 local schools with raised beds, sensory gardens and seed‑sowing projects.

🌱 The magic of healthy soil

The Compost Connection showed us how soil teems with life. Their hands‑on demo — featuring what looked like chocolate cake mix but was actually compost — made the science fun and memorable.

🪴 Plant Sale returns

Join us at The Dovecote on Sunday 26 April, 2–4pm. Bring plants, buy plants, or simply enjoy the atmosphere. Donations can be dropped off from 20 April.

A sparkling welcome to Moseley

Our Litter Busters gave the Welcome sign a deep clean, and a missing bracket was found in nearby bushes. It will soon hold a fresh flower box.

🌷 A fond farewell

We thanked Chris Jones from Birmingham City Council for 20 years of beautiful floral displays. His creativity shaped the look of Moseley for two decades.

🚂 Crafty celebrations

The Knit & Natter group marked the opening of the railway station with a brilliant yarn‑bombed topper featuring a train, The Hive and even the Moseley in Bloom logo.

And that’s only the start. As the newsletter says, it’s been wonderful to see “trees full of blossom and the daffodils in full bloom” across our village.
