Moseley in Bloom Awards – the winners!

Some of the businesses in Moseley had a surprise when they were visited by Amy Maclean, Chair of Moseley in Bloom and by journalist, broadcaster and academic, Marverine Cole, who dropped by to present awards.

It’s a few years since we made these awards and we have now decided to re-introduce them and encourage the businesses to help to brighten up our environment in a sustainable way.

Earlier in the month, anonymous judges went around the village looking at businesses and marking then with reference to criteria: Floral or Planting displays: attractiveness of design, colours, balance of annuals and perennials; Condition of plants, taking account of time of year, weather conditions; Cleanliness and tidiness of premises. Good standard of maintenance; Overall ‘kerb appeal’
