Moseley in Bloom takes data protection very seriously and keeps its policies and procedures under constant review to ensure we comply with all the current regulations. In light of the introduction of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in May 2018, we are undertaking a comprehensive review of our procedures and our full Data Protection Policy will shortly be available.
The following statement has been approved by the Trustees of Moseley in Bloom to describe how we use your data.
- Moseley in Bloom uses your data to manage its membership, to reclaim Gift Aid and to communicate with you about our charity, local issues, and events organised by us or in which we are participating.
- We will never sell your data to a third party.
- We will not share your data without your permission. However, we will continue our current practice of putting members in touch with each other if there is a particular issue, such as a community gardening event or Open Gardens, that involves or affects certain members.
- You can ask at any time to have mistakes rectified or to have your name removed from a particular list (e.g., of volunteers) or from the email circulation list.
