🌿 A chance to explore Moseley’s hidden gems
Open Gardens gives visitors the unique opportunity to explore 21 private gardens, many of which are not normally open to the public. Expect a vibrant mix of:
- Creative urban spaces
- Wildlife‑friendly havens
- Beautifully cultivated family gardens
- Long‑loved favourites and exciting first‑time openers
Visitors can explore at their own pace, enjoy live music, stop for refreshments at selected gardens, and make use of the free shuttle bus running throughout the day.
“Moseley in Bloom’s Open Gardens is a highlight of the Moseley Calendar and this year we have more gardens open on a single day than ever before. For some visitors their main interest is horticultural, for others it is a social event, but some people are just there for the cake! Whether you only visit a few gardens or try to bag them all we can promise you a great day out.”
🌼 Supporting community greening across Moseley
Organised by the environmental charity Moseley in Bloom, Open Gardens is the organisation’s largest annual fundraiser. Last year’s event raised more than £10,000, helping to support:
- Floral displays across the village
- Environmental improvement projects
- Work with local schools
- Tools and equipment for volunteers
- Biodiversity and pollinator‑friendly planting
Every ticket directly supports the charity’s work to keep Moseley green, welcoming and full of life
🌸 “A great day out — whether you visit two gardens or all twenty‑one”
For more than two decades, Moseley in Bloom has worked with residents, schools, businesses and volunteers to enhance the local environment and create greener community spaces. Open Gardens is your chance to enjoy the results — and help fund the next chapter.
