🌿 What We’ll Be Working On
This month, we’re focusing on two much‑loved spots in the heart of Moseley:
- Hornbeam tree bases on Alcester Road (outside St Columba’s):
These need a good weed, tidy, and refresh to keep them looking welcoming for residents, visitors, and local businesses. - Top Car Park bed:
A clear‑out, prune, and tidy-up session before we plan future planting that will brighten the area for the whole community.
Every small action helps create a cleaner, greener, more vibrant Moseley — and your time makes a real difference.
🧤 What to Bring
If possible, Please bring:
- Gardening gloves
- Hand tools (if you have them)
- Suitable outdoor clothing
If you don’t have any tools – don’t worry – we have some spare.
We’ll provide refreshments afterwards as a thank‑you for your time and energy.
🌼 Why Your Volunteering Matters
Our volunteer sessions don’t just improve planting beds — they strengthen community pride, support local biodiversity, and help keep Moseley looking beautiful for residents, families, schools, businesses and visitors.
They also show local businesses and organisations the impact of community‑led action — and why supporting Moseley in Bloom through sponsorship helps keep these projects thriving year‑round.
đź’› Everyone Is Welcome
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, a family looking for a Sunday activity, a student seeking community hours, or a local business wanting to get involved, we’d love to see you there.
Come meet your neighbours, make a visible difference, and help us keep Moseley blooming.
