The leaves are turning, the days are getting shorter, and it’s time to give Moseley Village a fresh splash of colour!

On Sunday 25th October, from 10am to 12pm, our Moseley in Bloom volunteers will be out planting the village planters ready for autumn and winter.

We’ve already done the preparation work, so now comes the enjoyable part — filling the planters with fresh seasonal plants and bringing some colour to our streets.

And we’d love you to come and help!

🌱 A Little Planting Makes a Big Difference

If you’ve walked through Moseley Village recently, you’ll have seen the colourful displays that brighten our streets throughout the year.

Behind those displays are local volunteers who give a little of their time to keep Moseley looking lovely.

Now, as autumn settles in, we’re swapping our summer displays for fresh planting that will bring colour to the village through the colder months.

There’s plenty to do, so an extra pair of hands would be very welcome!

You don’t need to be an experienced gardener. In fact, you don’t need any gardening experience at all.

Our regular volunteers will happily show you what to do, and we’ll provide the tools. All you need is some enthusiasm and a willingness to muck in.

🍁 More Than Just Gardening

One of the nicest things about volunteering with Moseley in Bloom is the people you meet along the way.

It’s a chance to spend a couple of hours outdoors, chat with neighbours and get to know others who care about our village.

Plus, there’s something rather satisfying about walking past a planter afterwards and knowing you helped create it!

And once we’ve finished planting, the gardening gloves can come off!

We’ll be getting together for some well-earned refreshments and a friendly social. So, do stay for a cuppa and a catch-up.

Whether you’ve volunteered with us before or you’re thinking about joining for the first time, you’ll be very welcome.
