🌼 A Spring in Their Step: Volunteers Bring Moseley Village Green to Life

Moseley was buzzing with energy today as our brilliant volunteers headed out with a spring in their step — quite literally — to help the village bloom. Armed with trowels, gloves, and plenty of good humour, the team got their hands (and knees!) dirty planting cheerful tête‑à‑têtes and giving the Village Green a much‑needed weed and tidy.

What followed was classic Moseley magic: within a couple of hours, the space was transformed. Fresh pops of yellow, tidier borders, and a renewed sense of pride made the Village Green feel ready to welcome residents, visitors, and local businesses for the season ahead. It’s amazing what a few hours of community spirit can do.

🌿 A Fun, Muddy, Neighbourly Spring Morning

Today’s session had everything we love about community gardening in Moseley:

Bright spring bulbs going into the soil
Volunteers laughing as they compared muddy knees
Curious passers‑by stopping to chat
A Village Green that looked better with every handful of weeds removed

And once the tools were down, the team did what Moseley does best — regrouped in one of our local cafés for a well‑earned coffee, catching up, swapping stories, and enjoying that warm, neighbourly feeling that makes volunteering so rewarding.
