🌼 Join Us This Sunday to Help Moseley Bloom!
Lend a hand as we weed, plant, and prepare Moseley for spring colour

- Volunteer Session – Sunday 22nd February, 1:30pm–3:30pm
- Meeting point: Moseley Village Green
Moseley in Bloom thrives because local people come together to keep our village vibrant, welcoming, and full of colour. This Sunday, we’re hosting a hands‑on community gardening session — and we’d love you to be part of it.
We already have some fantastic volunteers confirmed, and we’re hoping to welcome a couple more friendly faces to help us make the most of the afternoon.
🌱 What We’ll Be Doing
This week’s session focuses on refreshing one of Moseley’s favourite spring displays:
- Weeding and tidying the Village Green beds
- Replenishing our cheerful Tête‑à ‑Tête daffodils
- Preparing the space for a bright, welcoming spring
It’s a simple, satisfying couple of hours that makes a visible difference to the heart of our village.
🧤 What to Bring
To help us work efficiently, please bring:
- Gardening gloves
- Small hand tools (if you have them)
- Weather‑appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes
If you’re new to volunteering, you’ll be warmly welcomed — no experience needed.
📱 Stay Updated
Because February weather can be unpredictable, it’s helpful if volunteers can share a contact number so we can update you quickly if conditions change. Sign up here!
You can also stay up to date on this page!
💛 Why Your Help Matters
Every weed pulled, every bulb planted, every bed refreshed — it all contributes to a cleaner, greener, more beautiful Moseley. Volunteering with Moseley in Bloom is also a great way to:
- Meet neighbours and make new connections
- Spend time outdoors
- Support a community‑led charity
- Make a real difference in just two hours
Even one session helps more than you might imagine.
