Who we are

Four Seasons is a gardening project where people with learning disabilities grow plants and sell them at our small garden centre. Apart from three paid workers everyone who works at the project is a volunteer. We are a Birmingham City Council project linked to Moseley Day Centre.

What we do

We grow a variety of plants: bedding, perennial, herb and vegetable plants. We are at our busiest in the spring and summer, but also sell houseplant baskets and seasonal plants at Christmas. All the profits made from selling plants are put back into the project to pay for materials, utilities and activities.

How we benefit our local community

Four Seasons gives people with learning difficulties the opportunity to develop gardening and work related skills and to have a valued role in their local community. It gives people in the local community a chance to buy locally grown plants which are of a good quality and reasonably priced. The project is based in what used to be the kitchen garden of Highbury Hall, so the project continues a long tradition of gardening on the site.

Planted up Willow Baskets

14” round willow baskets £19.00 each or 2 for £36.00

We will plant up your own hanging baskets or containers for you – price dependent on size.

Vegetable and Herb Plants

If you are wanting to grow your own then we have a range of herb and vegetable plants for sale, including cucumbers and tomatoes, lettuce, French and Runner beans, butternut squash, pumpkins and courgettes.

Our Address

We are in the car park of Chamberlain House Training Centre on 2 Yew Tree Road, Moseley, Birmingham, B13 8QG. We are at the end of the gravel car park.

Our Opening Times

Monday to Thursday from 10am to 3pm.
Fridays from 10am to 1pm.
From 8th May 2010 to end of July we are open Saturday mornings from 10.30 am to 1pm.
