The sun is shining and hopefully today marks the start of our (dare I say it!) barbeque summer! You will probably have noticed that the floral displays are now up around the village and it wont be long before your visual senses are stimulated for the season…
Please see the summary below of upcoming activities in June and where we need your help and also find out how you can get your hands on a free pair of Open Gardens 2010 tickets!
Moseley’s Big Plan
Local residents are joining with Birmingham City Council’s Planning Department to work out a new plan for Moseley. The last plan was drawn up 1992 and so needs to be updated. This is the first time residents have been allowed to lead on such a plan. The purpose of this new document is to help achieve the following:
- Make Moseley a better place to live, work and play in
- Ensure local resident’s ambitions are included
- Let Developers, businesses and others understand local priorities
- Tackle climate change
This is your chance to tell us about your ideas and views. We need your help in producing Moseley’s Big Plan. Read the rest of this entry »
